Quad Multi-Mode Gate: a four-channel vactrol-based gate/filter with VCA, Low-Pass Gate, Low-Pass Filter, and High-Pass Filter modes per channel, voltage-controlled feedback, direct coupling, normalizations for bandpass and complex filter configurations, and a summed Mix Out.446

Each of the four channels has a MODE SELECTION rotary switch with VCA, BOTH (LPG), LP, and HP settings, enabling multimode filtering per channel.446
Vactrol-basedvactrol
Contains no fewer than 8 vactrols across its four channels, giving it the characteristic non-linear response of the Buchla 292.446
